Eastern Washington has some of
the worst health statistics in the state.
Health disparities exist throughout our region. We have a fractured health system that doesn’t always coordinate physical, mental and oral health together with the other things that make us healthy—stable housing, adequate access to healthy foods, jobs and economic security, safe neighborhoods and good social supports.
Visit the Regional Impact Map to see our network of partners.
We see these challenges as an opportunity to create better health.
Better Health Together is led by tenacious problem solvers, working toward bold health solutions. We advocate for our region by attracting local, regional and national funding and upholding smart policy. We problem-solve alongside local experts who are intimately aware of the opportunities to improve health for their residents. We welcome partners who share an entrepreneurial spirit and our intensity for action and accountability.
Truly effective health systems care for the
whole person and are accessible to all.
The best solutions are determined locally
but coordinated regionally across the state.
Prudent and efficient use of the health
care system and community resources will
result in better health and lower costs.
